I'm Aleksandra Safronova (Александра Сафронова), a psychologist and counsellor based in the Netherlands. I provide online counselling in Russian for Russian speakers wherever they live.
I work gently and in a structured way: I help people make sense of what they are going through, notice recurring patterns and choose manageable next steps at their own pace.

Degree evaluation in the Netherlands
My bachelor's degree in psychology has been officially evaluated in the Netherlands. According to Nuffic's diploma evaluation of 12 August 2026, it corresponds to the level of a Dutch bachelor's degree in university education (wetenschappelijk onderwijs) in psychology.
Nuffic is a Dutch organisation that evaluates foreign diplomas on behalf of Dutch government ministries. The evaluation confirms the level of education. It is not a BIG registration or a licence for medical or psychotherapeutic practice: I provide psychological counselling.
Supervision and principles
I work under regular supervision and follow professional ethics and confidentiality: what is said in sessions stays private, and I do not promise "guaranteed results". If a request is outside my competence, we discuss other routes to help.
Sessions take place online only, via Google Meet or Zoom, and only in Russian. Psychological counselling is not medical care and does not replace psychiatric or emergency help.

I live in the Netherlands and went through relocation and adaptation to a new country myself.
Personal experience is no substitute for professional training, but it helps me understand what many of my clients are dealing with.
